Fairs and exhibitions are the celebrations of exuberance of life. World exhibitions and fairs are the fête of joy and beauty. The trade fairs are places to display machineries in the market. Different exhibitions and fairs are known by different names like fete, carnival fete or agricultural show.

The word fair is derived from the word “fayre”, meaning gathering for food and drink. There are different fairgrounds in different countries. Some fairgrounds are dedicated to particular fairs for long. Fairs and exhibitions are also held in private gardens, town squares and streets.
